Ole Miss Track ready for Florida Relays

The Ole Miss Track team is competing at the Florida Relays this weekend.
It is a two-day meet where all the best schools in the country and also professional athletes will participate.
This is the second meet for the track team this outdoor season, and both the coaches and athletes feel excited.
Assistant coach Greg Stringer says that this will be an opportunity to display some of the team's stronger events, such as the 400 meter hurdles, which has not contested indoors.
The athletes will have an opportunity to compete under great circumstances, both competitive- and weather wise.
Kristin Bridges and Jasmine Williams, both sprinters on the team, think the 85 degrees will be a great change to the 60 degrees in Oxford.
Except for competing there are other things that are tempting when going to Florida. ”They have an awesome mall and a nice nightlife that is very entertaining,” Bridges said.
Coach Stringer is positive about the weekend and said, ”We expect great things from our kids this weekend. It is still early in the season but I think we will do well.”
