Many spring breakers all over the world are traveling to Austin , Texas for the South by Southwest music festival.
This year SXSW is celebrating it's 25 anniversary. The music festival is scattered all around Austin to feature different genres of music and films. SXSW's original goal was to create a festival that would help creative people and the companies they work with to develop their careers. This festival also helps to bring together people from a wide area to meet and share artistic ideas.
Sophmore Ming Tai , from Austin ,TX will be driving eleven hours to the great big state to see her favorite bands play.
"I'm ready to rock out in my favorite city. I can't wait to see Bright Eyes with there new album and Okkerville River!"
The live music capital of the world Austin Texas has a rapidly growing music and film industry. The funky vibe of this city attracts many tourist during this time.
The festival begins on August 9th and ends on the 27th.
Freshman Casey Beard, from Batesville , Mississippi will also be traveling to the world wide event.
"Austin food and Austin music..It doesn't get better than this."
